The Throat Chakra

In this video you are predominantly hearing the G crystal bowl. The G is the frequency 741 Hz shown to resonate well and help to open the throat chakra. You are also hearing a breating mediation called Bhramari Pranayama (bee breathing). Bee breathing is an especially good practice for the throat chakra. It activates the voice box and engages both speech and hearing (the active and cognitive senses associated with this chakra). Additionally it is effective in instantly calming down the mind as well as freeing the mind of agitation, frustration, or anxiety and get rid of anger to a great extent. This video is best enjoyed with over-ear headphones.

The Throat Chakra

The throat chakra, also known as Vishuddha in Sanskrit, is the energy center located at the base of the throat. It is associated with communication, self-expression, and creativity. When the throat chakra is balanced, one can speak their truth with clarity and confidence.

The throat chakra acts as a bridge between the first four chakras, which are associated with the earth elements and the physical body, and the last two chakras which are associated with light, intuition, and the divine or universal energy. The throat chakra is the link between these realms. It connects the energies between your basic needs and your higher wisdom.

An imbalance in the throat chakra may manifest as difficulty in expressing oneself, feeling unheard, or struggling with communication. Physical symptoms such as throat pain, neck stiffness, or thyroid issues can also indicate an imbalance in this energy center.

To balance the throat chakra, one can try practices such as chanting, singing, or speaking affirmations. Blue gemstones like aquamarine or blue lace agate are believed to help balance and activate the throat chakra. Taking the time to express oneself honestly and authentically can also help bring this energy center into alignment.
